22-year-old Kenroy Jackson Jr., a fugitive involved in a street takeover in Pompano Beach, crashed his car while fleeing from deputies, killing 20-year-old bicyclist Eric Gray. The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. on North Andrews Avenue and Northwest 15 Avenue. Jackson lost control of his 2017 Mercedes C300 Coupe and struck Gray, who was riding southbound in a bicycle lane. Broward Sheriff's Office arrested Jackson shortly after the crash.
