Vienna-based privacy campaign group NOYB has filed a complaint against OpenAI's AI tool, ChatGPT, in Austria, claiming it provides wrong answers that cannot be corrected. NOYB argues that such inaccuracies are unacceptable for information about individuals, as EU law stipulates that personal data must be accurate. The group also states that OpenAI has failed to explain where the data comes from and what ChatGPT stores about individuals.
