UMB Financial Corp. has agreed to acquire Heartland Financial USA Inc. in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $2 billion. Heartland shareholders will receive 0.55 UMB shares for each of their shares. The acquisition will create a leading regional banking powerhouse, spanning a 13-state branch footprint. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in Q1 2025.
