Sydney's planning department approves 58-storey and 51-storey buildings above Hunter Street Station, part of a $25bn Metro West line between CBD and Parramatta. The towers will be part of a major transport hub, support job creation, and link to thousands of new homes. Construction of the underground station began in 2023. The planning process continues with final plans expected in 2024.
