Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) appoints Finidi George as new head coach of the Super Eagles. Former Ajax and Super Eagles winger, Finidi George, has been selected following the NFF board's approval of the Technical and Development Committee's recommendation. George served as an assistant coach under Jose Peseiro and recently acted as caretaker coach during friendly matches against Ghana and Mali. NFF approves Finidi George as the new Super Eagles head coach.
