Michelin launches hotel ratings in US, lists 124 hotels with 1-3 keys, primarily in California and New York.

Michelin has unveiled its first list of US hotels awarded at least one Key under its new hotel rating system, with California and New York having the most exclusive entries. The French company has recognized 124 hotels across the US, each awarded between one and three keys, as part of the new system designed to give hotels the same type of ratings as their restaurant counterparts.
