India's leading cash logistics company, CMS Infosystems, reported a 5.51% increase in monthly average cash withdrawals from ATMs, reaching Rs 1.43 crore in FY24. Despite the rise in digital payment modes like UPI, the report indicates steady demand for cash across the country. ATM cash withdrawals in metro areas increased by 37.49%, while semi-urban and rural areas (SURU) saw a 3.94% increase.
