Hanwha Systems, a South Korean defense and ICT solutions firm, plans to build a space center on Jeju Island for satellite development and manufacturing. The Jeju Hanwha Space Center, spanning 11,000 sqm, is set to be operational by 2025. The facility aims to produce 4-8 satellites monthly, helping Hanwha expand its presence in South Korea's new space industry and global space markets.
