Glynn County police officer Zachary Hampel was arrested for disorderly conduct and cruelty to children. Kingsland Police received a call about a disturbance at Hampel's home and subsequently arrested him. Glynn County command officers secured his GCPD-issued equipment and property, and Hampel was placed on administrative leave without pay. The Glynn County Police Department's Office of Professional Standards is investigating the matter.
