Fugitive Prince Paul-Philippe of Romania, convicted of corruption and sentenced to 3 years and 4 months, was captured in Malta at a resort vacation. Romanian police collaborated with Maltese authorities to apprehend him, as an active European arrest warrant was still in effect. Although Prince Paul had previously been denied extradition to Romania by a French court, the Bucharest authorities plan to seek his extradition again.
