Azerbaijan's inaugural National Carpet Festival takes place in Icherisheher, a UNESCO site. Organized by AZPROMO, the event celebrates "Carpenter's Day" and aims to promote and safeguard Azerbaijani carpet weaving, a UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage. The two-day festival features exhibitions, masterclasses, seminars, theater performances, a fair, a mugham evening, and a concert program.
