34-year-old Samuel Brough, part of a Warrington-based drug gang, was sentenced by Chester Crown Court after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis. His illicit enterprise was exposed when law enforcement officers cracked the EncroChat system. A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing was held to determine how much of his £2.4m gains he must repay, of which he will repay only £600.
