21-year-old motorcyclist James L. White died after a crash with a Jeep on Broadway, downtown Nashville. White, riding at high speed, collided with a Jeep exiting a parking lot at 6:30 PM on Friday. Both drivers showed no signs of impairment and White was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries. This is the second motorcyclist death in Nashville this month.
