Chatham-Kent police arrested two men in separate incidents involving assault and weapons charges. A 21-year-old man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, obstructing a peace officer, and failing to comply with probation after an altercation involving a knife. The following day, a 22-year-old man was charged with assault following a domestic dispute, with a court date set for June 3.
