TDP's Naidu promises 4% quota for Muslims in Andhra Pradesh and Haj assistance despite BJP's opposition.
TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu assured Andhra Pradesh Muslims that the 4% quota for them in the state will continue despite BJP's opposition to reservation for Muslims. Naidu also promised that if the NDA comes to power in the state, Rs 1 lakh financial assistance will be extended to every Muslim for Haj pilgrimage. The TDP is contesting the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh in alliance with the BJP and Jana Sena Party.
