China's ecological environment improved significantly in Q1 2022, with PM2.5 density decreasing by 6.5% and 83.6% of days in 339 cities experiencing good air quality. 89.9% of monitored surface water had fairly good quality, and only 0.7% was below the lowest grading level. These improvements are attributed to China's ongoing efforts to combat pollution and promote sustainable development.
