Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar as the Deputy Prime Minister, according to a notification from the country's Cabinet Division. Dar, a seasoned politician and a member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), will hold the position with immediate effect and until further orders. He has previously served as Pakistan's Finance Minister multiple times.
