The Nigerian Army handed over a dismissed soldier and three other suspects to the police in Lagos for alleged impersonation. The suspects, who were without fixed addresses, were caught wearing military attire and had been using it to commit crimes and evade checkpoints, according to Lagos police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin. The investigation into how they obtained the uniforms is ongoing.
