1,320 MW of electricity to be added to Pakistan's grid upon Thar Coal project's first phase completion.
Sindh's Energy Minister, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, announced that upon completion of the first phase of the Thar Coal project, 1,320 MW of electricity will be added to Pakistan's National Grid. The 2,300 MW Thar Coal Block-I Power Generation Project is expected to play a key role in meeting the country's energy requirements. The minister emphasized removing obstacles in the project and ensuring local people's welfare.
