Humffray Street South in Mount Pleasant, Ballarat will be closed for 3 months from April 29 for a $25m sewer upgrade project. Central Highlands Water's contractor, Diona, is implementing the works between manholes 4 and 6 using an open-cut method due to rocky terrain. A temporary road will be established during the micro-tunnelling phase to minimize disruption and maintain traffic flow. Bus service will be re-routed by operator CDC.
