3-5 million gallons of wastewater released due to sewer line rupture in Palm Beach County, Florida; no-swim advisory and no irrigation remain for affected surface water.

A health alert in Palm Beach County, Florida, near Lake Worth Beach, has been partially lifted after a sewer line rupture caused by AT&T contractors on April 9 released 3-5 million gallons of wastewater. After four days, the Lake Worth Utility District repaired the line, and recent lab tests confirmed that surface water quality in affected areas meets fecal-indicator bacteria standards. However, a no-swim advisory and no irrigation remain for surface water between South Congress Avenue and Florida Mango Road.
