China's top liquor brand, Kweichow Moutai, reports a 15.59% profit surge in Q1 2024 with earnings of 33.2 billion yuan ($4.67 billion), a 15.59% year-on-year increase. Revenue also grew 18.04% year-on-year to 46.5 billion yuan in the same period. The liquor is distilled in the town of Maotai, Guizhou Province, and is often served at state banquets.
