1 person dies in Lake Cumberland boating accident; 2nd person rescued. A boating accident on Lake Cumberland led to one fatality and another person being rescued. Emergency crews responded to the incident near Cemetery Island at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Russell County Search and Rescue deployed seven members and two marine units to the crash. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
