Dubai plans to relocate its bustling international airport, currently the world's busiest, to a new $35 billion facility within the next 10 years. The project, approved by Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, involves moving operations to Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central. The new airport will have a passenger capacity of 260 million annually and is expected to fully absorb Dubai International Airport's operations in 10 years.
