5-year-old boy dies, woman critically injured in single-vehicle crash in Sydney's west.

A five-year-old boy died and a 38-year-old woman is critically injured after a single-vehicle crash in Sydney's west. The crash occurred when a Hyundai Getz hit a parked truck and trailer on Christie Street at St Marys. The boy was treated at the scene before being rushed to The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The woman was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital. A crime scene has been established, and a report is being prepared for the Coroner.
