A Manhattan federal judge dismissed a 1970s sexual assault lawsuit against Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

A federal judge in Manhattan has dismissed a lawsuit accusing Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler of sexually assaulting a former teenage model, Jeanne Bellino, twice in the mid-1970s. The judge ruled that Bellino cannot recover damages from Tyler under a 2000 New York City law protecting victims of gender-motivated violence, and that her battery claim would have expired on her 19th birthday. Additionally, two more recent state laws, the Adult Survivors Act and Child Victims Act, did not revive Bellino's claim. Tyler has "vehemently" denied the allegations.
