Mainland China plans to provide aid to earthquake-hit Hualien, Taiwan, through mobile houses and relief materials.

Mainland China, through spokesperson Zhu Fenglian, plans to provide mobile houses and relief materials to earthquake-hit Hualien, Taiwan, following a 7.3-magnitude quake. Red Cross organizations on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will facilitate aid delivery. Zhu emphasized that Chinese compatriots on both sides support each other in major disasters, as they belong to the same nation.
