5 injured, 2 critically, in Pier 36 boat fire; explosion suspected. An explosion on a fishing boat at Honolulu Harbor's Pier 36 left 5 men injured, 2 critically, on Friday afternoon. Emergency services received a call for a person on fire at 3:30 pm and found several people with severe burns. The Honolulu Fire Department, State Sheriffs, and Coast Guard also responded.
