30 garbage bins will be reinstalled along Montreal's Lachine Canal following backlash from visitors. The bins were removed by Parks Canada in an attempt to encourage eco-responsibility and waste management, however, public opposition led to their reinstallation. Parks Canada will continue to seek ways to address waste management issues along the canal, including disposal of household and construction garbage.
