"Forbidden Broadway," a satirical revue featuring parodies of Broadway musicals, has canceled its planned summer run at the Hayes Theatre due to a crowded Broadway season with not enough investors and ticket buyers to support the numerous shows onstage and in development. Creator Gerard Alessandrini's musical theatre parody, which began in 1982, has played in over 200 cities worldwide.
