Custodia Bank appeals U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals against lower court denial of Federal Reserve master account access.

Custodia Bank has filed an appeal with the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals after a lower court denied its attempt to join the U.S. banking system in March. The bank is challenging the decision by Judge Scott Skavdahl of the District Court for the District of Wyoming, which dismissed Custodia’s request for a Federal Reserve master account. A master account would grant Custodia access to Federal Reserve services like Fedwire and the Automated Clearing House network.
