He pleaded guilty to three charges of breaching his long-term supervision order and one charge of failing to appear in court. The 58-year-old escaped from his halfway house in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and removed his electronic monitoring ankle bracelet. A Canada-wide warrant was issued, but Hopley turned himself in at a police station due to feeling cold.
