Azerbaijan agrees to supply oil products to Kyrgyzstan, signing an energy cooperation MoU.
Azerbaijan is prepared to supply oil products to Kyrgyzstan, according to Kyrgyz Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev. Azerbaijan is a top oil exporter and the Junda oil refinery, expected to consume over 1 million tons of petroleum per year, is set to become operational in Kyrgyzstan soon. A Memorandum of Understanding on energy cooperation was signed between the ministries of both countries on April 24.
