30 antiquities, valued at $3 million, have been repatriated to Cambodia and Indonesia after being looted and illegally trafficked by American dealers and traffickers. The items, including a bronze statue of Lord Shiva, were returned in two recent ceremonies, with 27 pieces sent to Phnom Penh and three to Jakarta. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accused art dealers Subhash Kapoor and Nancy Wiener of involvement in the illicit trafficking of the antiquities.
