Alberta's Dickson Dam to undergo $140m upgrade, increasing spillway capacity for improved flood management by 2025.

Dickson Dam west of Innisfail, Alberta is set to undergo a significant upgrade, funded through a $140m water management program. The Dickson Dam Spillway Enhancement project will increase the auxiliary spillway's capacity from 2,800 to 4,900 cubic meters per second, improving flood management in the Gleniffer Reservoir. The project is part of a two-phase upgrade and is expected to be completed by 2025.
