27-year-old motorcyclist dies after crashing into a lamppost on Orrell Road, Wigan on April 25th at 4:25 am. The rider crossed the offside carriageway, mounted a footpath, and hit the lamppost. Emergency services took him to the hospital in critical condition, but he later died. GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and has appealed for witnesses or anyone with footage of the crash to come forward.
