5-year-old boy dies in a road traffic collision with a Ford Fiesta on A390 near St Austell, Cornwall on April 25. The accident occurred at Penpillick Hill around 4:50 pm, and the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was uninjured. Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage. The road was closed in both directions and reopened on April 26.
