U.S. Silica to be acquired by Apollo Global Management for $1.85B in an all-cash deal.
U.S. Silica, an industrial minerals company, has agreed to be taken private in an all-cash acquisition by Apollo Global Management for approximately $1.85 billion. Shareholders will receive $15.50 in cash per share owned at the time of the deal's closing. Following the acquisition, U.S. Silica's stock will no longer be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and the company will operate privately.
