Calcutta High Court directs NIA to submit report on clashes during Ram Navami celebrations in Murshidabad, West Bengal. The court was responding to two PILs seeking investigations by the CBI and NIA. The Murshidabad district SP reported alleged use of bombs and weapons during clashes on April 13 and 17, resulting in injuries. The NIA is to state in the report whether FIRs registered in connection with the clashes should be transferred to the Central agency.
