Bitbuy acquired over 100K Canadian client accounts from European crypto exchange Bitstamp.
WonderFi's Bitbuy has acquired over 100K Canadian client accounts from European crypto exchange Bitstamp, following Bitstamp's discontinuation of services in Canada earlier this year. The acquisition will see Bitbuy share a portion of revenues from the acquired business, with minimal incremental operating costs expected for WonderFi. The deal was completed via a business transfer agreement.
