16,700 annual UK melanoma diagnoses, expected to rise by 50% in 2 decades, partly due to increased travel and hot weather.

Key symptoms include new abnormal moles or existing moles changing. This increase in melanoma is partly attributed to people travelling more to warmer climates and experiencing more frequent hot spells in the UK.
