Jacksonville's Southside brush fire, sparked by an escaped warming fire in a homeless community, was fully contained by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and the Florida Forest Service. The 2.4-acre fire resulted in no injuries or damaged homes, and firefighters conducted mop-up operations. The Florida Forest Service will return later to search for any remaining fire remnants.
