45-year-old Tamil Nadu woman sought by police for marrying off her 15-year-old daughter. The Class 10 girl married a 35-year-old man on March 23 at a Mettur temple. The Salem District Child Welfare officer, who received an anonymous complaint, confirmed the marriage and filed a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act. Vinod, the groom, was arrested, and the mother is now being sought by the police.
