87-year-old Reza Kamali and 38-year-old Alfredo Lizcano have been arrested and charged with the 2016 murder of Longview businessman Ron Horaney. Kamali allegedly hired Lizcano to kill Horaney due to a family dispute. Both are being held on high bonds, awaiting extradition to Gregg County. The case gained attention in 2019 due to a Texas Ranger's relationship with Horaney's wife.
