10 years after the brutal killings of Russell and Shirley Dermond in Lake Oconee, investigators have discovered new DNA evidence on clothing found at the crime scene. Despite numerous leads, this is the best evidence found in the unsolved case. The Putnam County Sheriff hopes that the new development could help identify the killer or killers who shot, beheaded, and attempted to weigh down the couple's bodies.
