20-year-old Jerron Lightfoot was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a fatal February 2023 crash that killed a Kansas City police officer, a pedestrian, and a police K-9. Lightfoot pleaded guilty in February to two counts of felony first-degree involuntary manslaughter in connection to the incident. The sentence will be served concurrently, and Lightfoot will receive credit for the year spent on house arrest.
