Mutilated, burnt, and beheaded dog found near children's play area in North London; RSPCA investigating.
A mutilated and burnt dog's body was discovered near a children's play area at Lordship Recreation Ground in North London. The bull breed dog had been beheaded, cut into pieces and its spine sawn in half. Animal rescue officer Lee Ricketts is investigating the incident for the RSPCA, who also received a report of a dog beating six days prior in the same area; however, it's unclear if the two incidents are related.
