On April 16, a woman in her late 20s was found dead in a Port Coquitlam home, sparking a Coquitlam RCMP investigation. The death is considered suspicious and isolated, unrelated to gang conflicts. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and Coquitlam General Investigative Services are leading the investigation. Burns Road was temporarily closed during initial inquiries, but the public is not at risk.
