96-year-old Korean War veteran from Minnesota, Earl Meyer, will finally receive his Purple Heart medal 73 years after being wounded in combat. The US Army reversed its decision after taking an interest in the case due to a lack of paperwork. Judge John Tunheim ordered an Army review board to revisit the case. Meyer, who still carries shrapnel in his leg, has been notified of the decision.
