24-year-old Jean Rivera from Bristol was arrested for allegedly driving at 120 mph on Route 8 in Naugatuck, exceeding the 55 mph speed limit. Rivera was charged with reckless driving, following too closely, failure to maintain lane, and passing on the right. He apologized to the police and claimed he doesn't normally speed, and was released on a $1,200 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for next month.
